RIGUARDO IL PROGETTO
Il progetto DAB-Dance against Bullying è supportato dalla Commissione Europea attraverso il programma Erasmus+, Key Action 2- Partnership strategica per i giovani. Il progetto ha l’obiettivo principale di contrastare il fenomeno del bullismo tra i giovani, utilizzando gli strumenti della danza contemporanea e promuovendo una metodologia innovativa. Nell’ultimo decennio, il bullismo ha sollevato le preoccupazioni delle autorità locali e degli operatori giovanili per i suoi effetti nocivi sulle vittime e in quanto segno di disagio sociale da parte di coloro che lo praticano. Il progetto DAB-Dance Against Bullying mira a integrare le buone pratiche già esistenti all’interno di un nuovo approccio basato su laboratori di danza, unendo operatori giovanili e giovani nella lotta contro il bullismo, soprattutto nei casi in cui è difficile esprimersi verbalmente. Grazie agli effetti positivi della musica e del movimento fisico sui giovani, la danza è infatti un ottimo strumento per sviluppare l’empowerment e la resilienza contro la violenza e gli abusi. Il progetto migliora le competenze degli operatori giovanili per supportare i giovani nel superamento di problemi specifici legati al bullismo attraverso attività di integrazione, team building, creatività e auto-potenziamento. Con l’aiuto di un coreografo/formatore/esperto di danza e utilizzando la nostra metodologia, gli operatori giovanili sono in grado di lavorare con i giovani per sviluppare le fasi dei laboratori di danza contemporanea, i quali includono: sessioni di educazione non formale finalizzate all’analisi del fenomeno del bullismo (dal punto di vista del bullizzato, dei bulli e degli osservatori passivi e attivi; situazioni in cui emergono comportamenti di bullismo; giochi di ruolo incentrati sui principali attori di uno scenario di bullismo). I laboratori di danza sono stati filmati e analizzati dal consorzio DAB attraverso la presentazione di metodi, progressi e risultati. Questa piattaforma contiene sia i video che i risultati del progetto, in modo che questi possano essere condivisi con tutti gli stakeholder che desiderano realizzare progetti simili. La durata del progetto è di 30 mesi, da luglio 2019 a dicembre 2021
OBIETTIVI
Gli obiettivi principali del progetto DAB sono:
-Combattere gli atteggiamenti di bullismo tra i giovani;
-Migliorare, con una nuova metodologia, le competenze e le conoscenze degli youth workers;
-Promuovere l’uso della danza come strumento per affrontare il bullismo, attraverso lo sviluppo di un White Paper, un portale web con video lezioni e l’implementazione di workshop di danza;
-Promuovere i valori di inclusione, lotta alla discriminazione ed uguaglianza;
-Promuovere metodi di Educazione Non Formale;
-Rafforzare la cooperazione internazionale all’interno del consorzio del progetto DAB
CONSORZIO
Dab riunisce 5 partner di diversi paesi: Francia, Bulgaria, Romania, Italia, Grecia con competenze complementari e background consolidati.
Il coordinatore è ESSEVESSE, compagnia di danza contemporanea francese che svolge attività sociali con i giovani a Marsiglia.
Oltre al coordinatore, la partnership è formata da:
-EUNIPARTNERS: ONG bulgara attiva nelle scuole con progetti culturali e sociali a Blagoevgrad.
– AICSCC: associazione rumena con sede a Iaçi, che riunisce psicologi e youth workers che si occupano di giovani affetti da disturbi personali.
– CEIPES: ONG europea con sede a Palermo e attiva in 8 Paesi europei, che realizza progetti sociali in alcuni dei quartieri più poveri di Palermo.
-THE SMILE OF CHILD: è la più grande associazione greca che opera per il mantenimento del benessere dei bambini e delle loro famiglie.

Laboratori di danza locale
Sono stati realizzati dieci laboratori in ciascun Paese del consorzio: cinque hanno coinvolto gli operatori giovanili al fine di diffondere la metodologia e gli altri cinque comprendevano un gruppo di 15 giovani coordinati e supervisionati sia da operatori giovanili che da coreografi/formatori/esperti di danza. I laboratori hanno coinvolto giovani vittime di bullismo di ambo i sessi.

È stato sviluppato un White Paper sul bullismo attraverso l’arte: si tratta di un documento che definisce una serie di raccomandazioni al fine di integrare documenti già esistenti in un più ampio insieme di politiche relative al contributo della danza contro il bullismo.
